ABOUT US
Studio Mobility n Memory
Studio Mobility and Memory is a project-based research platform that investigates how urban mobility infrastructure connects people and places, data and memory, while transforming the structure of cities and everyday urban life. The Studio identifies and examines spaces of mobility infrastructure that have often remained overlooked. It maps the physical realities of cities, documents the data generated by movement, and develops these records into multiple layers of interpretation.Through this process, we explore how urban infrastructure operates, how it is transformed over time, and how it may shape future spatial change.
Why Mobility and Memory?
Mobility keeps the city in motion, while Memory enables us to understand it.

Everyday Heritage as Urban Infrastructure
Urban infrastructure does not always exist in ways that are immediately visible.
As we pass through it each day, use it repeatedly, and accept it as part of the ordinary urban background, the patterns of everyday life and mobility take shape around its structures.
Once established, railway stations, tunnels, underground spaces, and transfer systems rarely disappear. Instead, they continue to influence the direction and rhythm of cities over extended periods of time.
Studio Mobility and Memory approaches such infrastructure not simply as a remnant of the past to be preserved,
but as Everyday Infrastructure Heritage—a living system that continues to sustain the contemporary city while preparing the ground for future spatial transformation.
